Privacy Policy

Wedding Plannertz is a wedding and events planner based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@weddingplannertz.co.tz.

• Consultation requests: your name, a phone number or email, your preferred date and time, and anything you choose to add, such as a message, event type, event date and where you are based. We also record when you agreed to this policy.
• Concierge chat: the messages you send and an optional name. A random identifier is saved in your browser so your conversation continues when you return.
• Your browser: we remember on your device whether you dismissed the install banner. Our hosting provider also processes standard server logs, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver and secure the site.

At the time of writing, this site uses no advertising cookies and no analytics trackers, and we do not sell your details.

To reply to your request, confirm your appointment, plan your event, answer your chat messages and keep the site secure. We only use your details to plan your event.

Our own team, with access limited by role. We use service providers to run the site: Supabase for our database and staff sign-in, with servers in Frankfurt, Germany, and Netlify for hosting. If we need to share details with a venue or supplier to plan your event, we do so only for that purpose.

Because our providers run servers abroad, your details are stored and processed outside Tanzania. We use encrypted connections, and access to stored requests requires a staff login.

Only as long as we need them to respond to your request and plan your event. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, stop using them, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@weddingplannertz.co.tz and we will respond promptly.

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their details.

If we change this policy we will update the date below. It is governed by the laws of Tanzania, including the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022.
